The Legacy Foundation Global Specialist Social Work Team

Who We Are

The Legacy Foundation Global is a proactive organisation dedicated to community empowerment and the provision of specialist social care services. Our team consists of specialised family support workers and registered social workers who are highly experienced and qualified in working with families and children.

We support families facing complex issues, including mental health concerns, drug and alcohol misuse, domestic abuse, or where a child is at risk of entering the care system. The Legacy Foundation Global has a long-standing reputation for managing difficult situations and engaging families who may be hard to reach. We believe that children thrive best when families stay together through a framework of awakening and support.

Emergency Placement

Rapid-response emergency day and night support for children and young people. We provide immediate staffing and intervention to manage acute risks and provide stability during crisis transitions.

Residential Support

Specialised staffing solutions for residential homes. Our practitioners are trained to deliver high-quality care across full-day, night, and sleep-in shift patterns, ensuring safety and routine in the living environment.

Family Support & Mentoring

We provide highly experienced Family Support Workers (FSWs) and mentors to support children in care and those on social care plans, strengthening placements and reducing breakdown risk.

Home and Placement Support

Our FSWs work directly in the home or placement, providing practical support and risk-assessed community outings to help carers respond safely to complex behaviours.

Education and Transport

We provide safe, reliable school transport and support children placed out of borough to safely learn routes, building routine and confidence in unfamiliar areas.

Community Safety

Skilled mentors support young people to develop exploitation awareness, strengthening their ability to recognise unsafe situations and make safer choices.

EET Re-engagement

We support children and young people who are not in education, employment, or training to re-engage and progress towards positive, sustainable outcomes.

Supervised Family Time

Our supervisors facilitate safe, structured family time in community or designated venues, responding at short notice to meet urgent local authority needs.

Collaborative Practice

We work in partnership with social workers and multi-agency professionals to deliver coordinated, child-centred interventions that improve long-term outcomes.
